Daniel Fagan
Operations Manager
Daniel is a dedicated exercise specialist with a broad range of experience in various health, leisure and fitness disciplines. A graduate of Sport Science and Health from DCU, Daniel developed his career by owning his own gym and later taking on general management posts in the leisure industry. Daniel previously managed large leisure clubs including Stewarts Sports Centre and Sportslink. His expertise has allowed him to progress his career through high-level project/change management and operational management opportunities. Daniel's communication skills and stakeholder engagement throughout his career have driven his career progression. Since taking up the post of Head of Operations, Daniel has driven the growth and development of the ExWell service across a national footprint and has led the ExWell team to achieve great things supported by ExWell’s CEO and Advisory Board.
Brendan Gillen is a qualified Finance professional who is a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and a Graduate of the Masters in Operations Management in Dublin City University. Brendan has over 25 years’ Finance and Management experience in a number of large organisations such as Dublin City University, ESAT BT, and EBS Building Society. Brendan has worked as a Financial Control consultant under the umbrella of BGPMO since 2019 and has exposure at all levels in not-for-profit organisations and start-up enterprises with a proven record in Financial Control and Planning, delivering projects, and implementing change.

Cathy Dowdall
Administrator And Referral Coordinator
Cathy joined ExWell Medical in 2021 as part of our administration team. Her role is Referral Co-Ordinator and Administrator, mainly based in IWA Clontarf. She has a background in banking where she worked for 30 years. Cathy is an Exwell participant and enjoys the early morning classes in Clontarf. She also has a keen interest in sports and participates in the park run on a Saturday morning.

Dr Fiona Skelly
Clinical Exercise Specialist
Dr Fiona Skelly has been working with ExWell since 2015. She has a BSc in Sport Science and Health and a PhD in Clinical Exercise Physiology, which were both completed in Dublin City University. Her PhD investigated the impact of the ExWell program on individuals living with chronic disease. She is an ITEC qualified gym instructor, studio instructor and personal trainer and has BACPR qualification in cardiac rehabilitation. Fiona is currently a lecturer in the department of Sport and Health Sciences in the Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone. In addition, Fiona works as a strength and conditioning coach for the adult and underage GAA teams in Clontarf. Fiona is very passionate about the role of exercise to optimize health and well-being for individuals of all levels and abilities.

Aodhaghan O'Deasmhunaigh
Programme manager Dublin West
Aodhaghán graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a B.Sc.(Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2019. He has worked in ExWell since then, in a number of different capacities, including providing 1-1 rehabilitation for participants and physiotherapy management of conditions. Aodhaghán's current role is Programme Manager of our Dublin West and Naas sites - Tallaght Leisure Centre, Thomas Davis GAA, Clondalkin Leisure Centre and Naas. Aodhaghán is passionate about the benefits of sport and exercise, playing hurling with Clontarf GAA and basketball with St Vincent's. He believes these benefits should be open to all, and that ExWell provides a great opportunity to participate in, and overcome some of the barriers to exercise, in a fun and safe environment. As well as playing a lot of sport, Aodhaghán plays a lot of chess, competing with his local club Elm Mount

Cein McMonagle
Programme Manager Kildare
Cein graduated from Athlone IT with a B.Sc.(Hons) in Sports Science in 2019 followed my a masters degree from NUI Galway in exercise physiology. He has worked in ExWell since 2020 and is currently the programme lead in Naas.
Cein is a former member of the Kildare senior football team and plays currently for his local team Clogherinkoe

Edel Larkin
Programme manager Midlands
Edel Larkin has been working with Exwell Medical for 2 years as a clinical exercise instructor. She recently took on the role of Midlands Coordinator and looks after the programme in Athlone, Tullamore and Portlaoise. Edel studied Sport Management in Athlone Institute of Technology and has over 10 years experience in the fitness industry. Edel also has BACPR qualification in cardiac rehabilitation and is a specialist instructor in Can Rehab (Cancer Rehabilitation). Edel has always enjoyed empowering people through exercise and helping to makes people’s lives better. Sport is a huge part of Edel’s life. Basketball was Edel’s main focus for years. Rowing is her latest pursuit.

Programme manager Dublin South
Cliona McGowan
Cliona is a recent graduate from Dublin City University with a BSc in Athletic Therapy and Training and is a Certified Athletic Therapist with Athletic Rehabilitation Therapy Ireland. Cliona is the programme manager for our centres in the Dublin South region.
She has a passion for people and helping them enjoy exercise and being active in their everyday lives. Cliona also enjoys playing Gaelic football.

Jade Geraghty
Programme lead Meath
Jade graduated from DCU with a degree in Sports Science and Health. She worked with ExWell as part of her work placement throughout the 3rd year of her degree. After completing her degree, she came back to work full-time for ExWell as a clinical exercise instructor, and she has been based in the Dublin West area before taking over the Meath project. Jade always had a strong interest in health and fitness, specifically in the areas of exercise physiology and chronic condition management. Outside of work, Jade is part of the coaching team for a U15 girl's Gaelic football team in her local club in Meath, where she also plays herself.

Precious Aderinwale
Clinical Exercise instructor
Precious graduated from Atlantic Technological University, completing a level 7, three-year degree in Sports science and health. She continued her education and received a Level 8 degree in Physical Activity and Health Science. Precious started with ExWell Medical in January 2022 as a volunteer and eventually moved into a full-time position in August 2022. She primarily works in Swords, the Naul, Ballymun, and Clontarf. Her Favourite pastimes would include Dance, training in the gym, and Pilates.

Lisa Kelly
Research Officer
Lisa is our research officer at ExWell Medical. She completed her undergraduate degree in Athletic Therapy and Training from DCU and a PhD from the Department of Sport and Health Sciences in TUS, Athlone.
Lisa on her interests;
'I’ve always loved staying active. You’ll usually find me running, doing CrossFit, or occasionally attempting to perfect my tennis game.'
Lisa on working in ExWell;
'I joined ExWell because it blends my professional passions with my personal experience of living with a chronic illness. Being part of a team that helps others with chronic conditions discover how movement can improve their health and wellbeing is incredibly rewarding.'

Fionn Delaney
Programme lead
Fionn graduated with a degree in Sports Science & Health from DCU, before traveling to complete an internship in Performance Analysis with Charlton Athletic Football Club.
Fionn on why he joined ExWell;
'Having heard such good things, I then followed the path of a few Sports Science classmates and started with ExWell in September 2023. It's a wonderfully rewarding job and I've enjoyed building relationships with both my co-workers and our participants.'
Fionn on his interests;
'When not working, I'm typically playing Gaelic with Clontarf GAA or getting my hopes up watching Bohemians. Up the Bohs!'

Kaitlyn Kinsella
Programme lead Galway
Kaitlin graduated with a degree in Athletic rehabilitation from DCU.
Kaitlin on her interests;
'I've a passion for working with both the sporting and chronic illness population. With avid interest in breathwork, meditation, yoga, and having the craic.'
Kaitlin on working in Exwell;
'ExWell has broadened my knowledge on rehabilitation for chronic illness, incorporating social, mental and physical benefits.'

Megan Moynagh
Programme lead
Megan graduated from DCU last year with a BSc in Sport Science and Health.
Megan on working with ExWell;
'My main area of interest is physiology and the benefits of exercise, so I knew ExWell was the place to be surrounded by both. I really enjoy helping people and seeing the progress of participants in the Exwell classes - it's a thoroughly rewarding job.'
Megan on her interests;
'Outside of ExWell, I enjoy running and being active, and play GAA for my club Drumgoon in my home county of Cavan.'

Oisin O'Donoghue
Programme lead
Oisin graduated with a BA (Hons) in Sports Management & Coaching from TU Dublin.
Oisin on working with ExWell;
'I was drawn to ExWell Medical because I wanted a coaching role where I can make a positive impact on people's lives.'
Oisin on what his hobbies;
'I am passionate about fitness and enjoy playing football for Castleknock and hiking in scenic areas.'

Amy Adams
Programme lead
Amy's qualifications include registered fitness instructor and personal trainer, associate registered nutritionist, and Pilates & yoga instructor.
Amy on working with ExWell;
'I joined ExWell as I find being a part of someone’s recovery journey, helping them regain strength and improving their quality of life, to be incredibly fulfilling.'
Amy on her interests;
'My hobbies include running, Pilates, and strength training. I also practice as a nutritionist for various sports teams in Leinster such as the Senior Kilkenny Camogie Team.'

Olivia Pikul
Programme lead
Olivia graduated with a BSc Honours in Health and Exercise Science and has completed a Diploma in Sports Therapy.
She is experienced in strength and conditioning of children to young adults and a Personal Trainer of adults and adults with various health conditions.
Olivia on working with ExWell;
'I genuinely enjoy working with older adults as it's a good craic. Exwell has that unique community that caught my attention. There is a bright attitude among this population and I strive to improve the quality of life as that is the goal at the end of the day.'
Olivia on her interests;
'I enjoy CrossFit, weight lifting, outdoors (provided it's sunny) and true story documentary series.'
