ExWell Medical are proud to announce the resumption of our cancer specific ‘MoveOn’ programme. We have over 10 years’ experience delivering exercise classes to those who need it most.
Research has proven that exercise throughout any phase of treatment (before/during/after) plays a major role in restoring your confidence and energy and may also improve long term outcome. Check out our own published research here: http://doras.dcu.ie/21637/
Our staff comprises of physicians, post-doctoral researchers and trained, experienced instructors with high level qualifications in exercise and cancer.
Participants will be encouraged to become fit in a friendly and safe environment.
About the classes:

Classes are held at our Clontarf location (the Irish Wheelchair Association)

Classes are varied, challenging and fun with elements of aerobic fitness, strength, balance and core stability.

How to join the programme
The first step is to get a medical referral. This can be from your oncologist, GP, nurse, physiotherapist or any other health care professional. This referral must be sent via email to: referrals@exwell.ie
The referral must include:

Your contact details (including email/phone number)

Brief medical history including any other diagnosis' outside of cancer.

Your GP details
We will then organise for your induction.
